The Visit of a Russian Delegation
On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, a Russian delegation from the city of Dubno visited the University of Nova Gorica as part of its visit at the Nova Gorica Town Hall.
The delegation was greeted by the Rector of the University of Nova Gorica, Prof. Dr. Danilo Zavrtanik and the University’s Vice-rector. The program consisted of getting to know the University’s programs and its way of operating, as well as visits to the Laboratory for Environmental Research, School of Arts , and the Lanthieri Castle in Vipava.
The guests from the university city of Dubno, where high energy physics is a highly developed research field, were very much interested in collaboration in the pedagogical and research fields. Before the end of the visit, the University of Nova Gorica and the International University in Dubno signed an agreement on collaboration in the area of student and faculty exchange.
Both parties noted that the meeting was very successful and they both expressed their desire to materialize their collaboration plans in the shortest possible time.
