The French Ambassador Visited the University of Nova Gorica
On Friday, 15 November, 2013, the University of Nova Gorica was visited by the French Ambassador, His Excellency Pierre-Francois Mourier.
He was greeted by the Vice-rector, Prof. Dr. Mladen Franko and Prof. Dr. Gvido Bratina, who introduced the University to him. The conversation revolved around the pedagogical and research collaboration between the University and the France, as well as around the strengthening of the respective ties in the area of biomedical sciences, viticulture, and enology.
At the end of his visit, the Ambassador Mourier stopped by the School for Viticulture and Enology, the Wine Research Center, and the Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering (all stationed at the Lanthieri Mansion in Vipava) and showed great interest in each of the institutions.
