Let us help take care of the animals from the Vitovlje shelter

Our University is starting with a charity project of collecting food and other supplies for too many abandoned pets that live in our surroundings.

By collecting not quickly perishable foods, new and old blankets, towels, sheets, leashes, collars and other useful tools, we wish to make the lives of the animals at the Vitovlje shelter (near Nova Gorica) better and ease their process of waiting for the right adopter.

The charity action also has a mission to raise awareness of the inhuman treating of pets. Many careless owners simply get rid of unwanted offspring and leave the animals to die in a torturous sway. Some owners want to ditch their animals after they get bored of them, or when the animals age, many animals simply live without any proper treatment, chained all day, without food, without water, or without any warm shelter in cold winter days.

We are grateful for any donation that can make the lives of these animals more bearable. We will be collecting donations until 24 February, 2014. If you donate money, we will use it to buy dog food.
