On Thursday, 16 January, 2014, the Slovenian Scientific Foundation, as part of the Thanks giving Day, gave out several recognition awards and other acknowledgements in the Prešeren Hall of the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Among the recipients of the “Prometheus of Science for Excellence in Communicating Science in 2013” award is also faculty member of the University of Nova Gorica Prof. Dr. Katja Mihurko Poniž. She received this award for organizing the event “University of Nova Gorica Week.”
