Postdoctoral fellow in the field of Conservation of architectural heritage

Candidates will be expected: * To hold a doctoral degree in the relevant field; * Excellent working knowledge of Italian and English;

The selected candidates will be required to perform part-time, 16 hours per week, research and other project related activities.
The selected candidate will be involved in international EU project At-Fort and PratiCons.

The projects aims are: * improvement of cultural heritage preservation practices; * development if innovative models for built heritage management; * elaboration of research, training and dissemination activities foreseen in the application forms.

The project work requires expertise in the field of conservation of cultural heritage as well as organisational and administrative skills for project work. A sound knowledge of conservation practices and techniques as well as economics of cultural heritage is reccomended. The work will be carried out mainly at the premises of the doctoral program in Economics and Techniques for the Conservation of the Architectural and Environmental Heritage in Venice. Availability for short travel periods is requested.
