Prof. Paola Eugenia Falini, professor of Urban Planning at the Faculty of Architecture of the University La Sapienza of Rome and a member of the University of Nova Gorica has received the prestigious award from the Architectural Institute of Japan for the outstanding contribution to the culture of Architecture in the year 2014.

The Architectural Institute of Japan is the most relevant cultural institution for Architecture in Japan and it is directed by the most eminent personalities of this country in the field of Architecture. Award is considered as the highest recognition in the field of Architecture in the country, which was awarded in Tokyo on 30 May.

Prof. Paola Eugenia Falini works as a faculty member at the graduate program Economics and Techniques for the Conservation of the Architectural and Environmental Heritage at the Universitu of Nova Gorica. She teaches Cultural Landscape and Preservation of Urban and Environmental Heritage.
