The Visit of the Israeli Economic Delegation at the University of Nova Gorica

The Israeli delegation included Yaniv Binyamin from the Israeli company Yaniv Binyamin, Issac Shalev, General Manager of the SBL Issac Shalev company, and Menny Binyamin, the President of the SACHAL foundation. The delegation was welcomed by the Rector of the University of Nova Gorica, Prof. Dr. Danilo Zavrtanik, Vice-rector Prof. Dr. Gvido Bratina, and the head of the Industrial Liaison Office at UNG, Uroš Ferjančič.

We introduced to the guests the pedagogical and research activities at the University of Nova Gorica, they also visited the Pipistrel d.o.o. company in Ajdovščina. At the end of the delegation’s visit, a representative from the Arctur d.o.o company from Nova Gorica joined the group.

The main purpose of the visit was mostly to strengthen and deepen collaboration between Slovene and Israeli development and technology transfer institutions, the establishing of the Israeli-Slovene incubator, and collaboration between companies which represent an interest for Israeli investors.

At the end of the visit, the guests thanked for the kind welcome and expressed great interest in mutual collaboration.
