A Visit of the DMFA and DUP at the University of Nova Gorica

We started our visit by going to the Otlica observatory, where, under the auspices of the Center for Atmospheric research, the lidar measurements of the transport of aerosols and other ecological and meteorological measurements have been done. Aftern that, we visited the Pipistrel d.o.o. company in Ajdovščina. We introduced the University of Nova Gorica to our guests, the project Pierre Auger, and the achievements of the University of Nova Gorica in the field of organic semiconductors. The guests were particularly interested to see the Laboratory of Organic Matter Physics, Materials Research Laboratory and the Laboratory of Quantum Physics. At the end of the visit, there was a wine tasting of the university’s wines.

The members of the associations expressed great satisfaction with their visit and they were pleasantly surprised by the projects of the University of Nova Gorica. All involved wish that the fruitful collaboration continues.
