Assistant in the field of enology

It is expected that the applicant: * has at least a university degree, or a master (2nd level) degree in the field of Enology or related fields, * has average of all the ratings at the undergraduate level at least 8,0 (out of 10) (is eligible for election into the title assistant at the University of Nova Gorica), * has practical experiences in the field of enology (winemaking, wine chemical and sensory analyses), * fluently speaks English (additional basic knowledge of Italian would be appreciated), * has good abilities for teamwork, good communication skills and is skilled in operating in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. * has valid driving license B (alternatively, also F) * enters PhD study programme in the field of enology (or related fields) in 2015/2016.

The chosen candidate will be actively involved in teaching and research work within the units of School of Viticulture and Enology and Wine Research Centre, in the following activities: * managing and/or assisting in student exercises in the fields of winemaking, analytical methods in winemaking and wine sensory analyses; co-organising student practical work. * taking care for the practical implementation of research / teaching / promotional vinifications, * assisting with promotional guided wine tastings, * assisting with the existing research work of Wine Research Centre unit.

Predicted start of employment is 01/12/2014. Employment is offered for a period of one year with the possibility of extension.

The candidates are expected to enclose: * the evidences of education and the ratings at the undergraduate level, * CV, * motivation letter and short description of up to date study/working experiences, * two (2) recommendation letters.
