The Swiss Ambassador visited the University of Nova Gorica

At the meeting, the Rector and the Ambassador were joined by the Vice-rectors Prof. Dr. Gvido Bratina and Prof. Dr. Mladen Franko. They introduced the pedagogical and research work done at the University to the Ambassador. The discussion mostly revolved around the cooperation between the University of Nova Gorica and the Swiss educational institutions and the possibilities of investments into Slovene universities and research institutions.

Later on, the Ambassador visited the School of Arts at the Alvarez Palace in Italy and the University Center in Ajdovščina. The visit concluded with the degustation of the University’s wines at the Lanthieri Mansion.

The Ambassador expressed great enthusiasm towards the work of the University and wanted to strengthen the collaboration.
