Research fellow in the field of food science

The University of Nova Gorica announces the research fellow in the field of food science job vacancy. Deadline for application: 31.12.2014

Candidates will be expected to meet the following criteria:

  • hold a doctorate degree in food science (or similar)
  • have the academic title of Assistant Professor in food science,
  • completed the post-doctoral training abroad
  • have theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of food chemistry, chemical analysis of
fruit, grapes, wines and musts, use of modern analytical techniques in the food industry,
  • have teaching experience,
  • be prepared on teaching assignments up to six hours a week in courses related to chemistry and
analysis of food of plant origin at the University of Nova Gorica,
  • have leadership experiences in managing research projects,
  • to participate actively in current and future research of Wine Research Centre,
  • active knowledge of English, preferably knowledge of Italian,
  • the ability to work in a group.

The position will start on March 1, 2014, with appointment for one year.
