On Thursday, 12 March 2015, the final ceremony of the "Gospodarstvenik Primorske za leto 2014" took place in Nova Gorica.

At the event the “Primorski um 2014” was awarded to Prof. Dr. Samo Stanič, dean of the School of Applied Sciences and head of the Centre for Atmospheric Research of the University of Nova Gorica.
