Research fellow in the field of viticulture

From the candidates we expect to:

• hold a doctorate degree in Agronomy (or similar field),
• meet the conditions for academic title of Assistant Professor in the field of Viticulture at University of Nova Gorica,
• have theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of Viticulture/Agronomy and the use of modern analytical techniques in Agronomy/Food Science,
• show international working experiences,
• take over the teaching assignments up to six hours per week within the courses related to Viticulture at the University of Nova Gorica,
• cooperate in professional managing of the vineyards of University Wine Estate,
• have experiences in gaining, performing and possibly managing of research projects,
• participate actively in current and future research of Wine Research Centre,
• have active knowledge of English,
• have the ability and desire to work in a group.

The position will start in November 15th, 2016, with appointment for two years.
