The main purpose of this event was to popularize the professions of a researcher/ scientist and make it more approachable for the general public, specifically the younger generations. This year’s event was organized by a consortium that also has the University of Nova Gorica as its participating party.

An open house was organized at the University center in Ajdovščina; it involved workshops for children and the visit to the laboratories. Since 5 pm, activities related to the work of the researchers at the University of Nova Gorica were presented at Bevk Square in Nova Gorica. Meanwhile, the visitors at the European Corner could get to know a series of European funding programs and other activities related to the development of the career of a researcher. The Slovenian Red Cross introduced the key resuscitation stages and the usage of the automatic defibrillator. The e-house hosted a workshop on the perception of cosmic waves.
