Assistant in the field of chemistry of materials for environmental technologies
University of Nova Gorica announces the assistant in the field of chemistry of materials for environmental technologies job vacancy.

Candidates are expected to: * have BsC in the field of chemistry, materials or environmental sciences, * have knowledge and experiences in inorganic synthesis and photocatalysis, * be involved also in pedagogic work after employment at UNG.
The successful candidate will be directly involved in the Flemish-Slovenian research project entitled »Development of advanced TiO2-based photocatalyst for the degradation of organic pollutants from wastewater«. Research work of the assistant collaborator on the projects will include development of solar-light driven titania photocatalysts on suitable supports and photocatalytic tests of synthesized composites for purification of wastewater, polluted by textile dyes and other organic contaminants. He/she will actively collaborate with project partners in development of new photocatalytic materials and in development of methodolgies for the target application.
The successful candidate will, according to his/her habilitation, take over some pedagogic obligations on one or more study programs at the University of Nova Gorica.
The position will start on 15.7.2017, with appointment for one year with possibility of extension.
