A faculty member of the University of Nova Gorica is a recipient of the ZRC SAZU “golden sign” award

At yesterday’s award ceremony titled Generations the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts – ZRC SAZU – gave away awards for scientific achievements in the field social studies and humanities in 2016.

Among those who received this award is also a faculty member of the University of Nova Gorica, Prof. Dr. Kozma Ahačič; he received the ZRC SAZU “golden sign” award.

Prof. Dr. Kozma Ahačič is the Assistant Head of the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language, the head of their Research Program and an Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Nova Gorica’s School of Humanities.
