Head of Center for information technologies and applied mathematics

Candidates, both male and female, should fulfill the general employment conditions defined by law and should: * have a PhD * fulfill criteria for a leader of research projects * have experience with project-funding acquision and research-project management * have team-leadership capabilities * have at least five years of research experience * have command of Slovene language at C1 level, or be prepared to learn Slovene language * have command of English language at C1 level

We are looking for a new university fellow that will get an opportunity to develop and lead his/her own research group. Experience with data science is an advantage due to the strategic orientation of the center. The post of the head of center is appointed for the period of 4 years. After that, the same person can be appointed for this position again.
