Among the recipients of the Slovene Film festival awards also a student and two colleagues from the University of Nova Gorica.

The 22nd Slovene Film Festival took place in Portorož between September 17th and 22nd. The students and school members of the UNG’s School of Arts also presented their work there and they were, once again, successful.

Student Sandra Jovanovska received the Educational Program Award called “Ostrenje pogleda” for her animated work titled “Soma”.

Apart from our student, Milanka Fabjančič and Martin Turk, who work for the School of Arts as external (visiting) school members, also received awards. Fabjančič received the Vesna award for the best animated short film “Liliana” and Turk received the Vesna award for special achievements related to his feature film “Dober dan za delo”.
