"Jožefa Stefan Golden Emblem Prize" and "Primorska prize for technology transfer"

On Wednesday, March 26 2008, the awarding of the "Jožef Stefan Golden Emblem Prize" took place at the Institute Jožef Stefan. The prizes are awarded to the Slovene and foreign authors of outstanding doctoral thesis in the fields of natural-mathematical, technical, medical, as well as biotechnical sciences.
Among the recepients of the awards was also dr. Urh Černigoj, employee of the University of Nova Gorica.
On the same day, the final ceremony of the 'Gospodarstvenik Primorske za leto 2007' took place in Postojna. At the event the Primorska prize for technology transfer 2007 was awarded to prof. dr. Urška Lavrenčič Štangar, employee of the University of Nova Gorica.
