Numerous annual events marking the beginning of the new Academic year
The University of Nova Gorica will traditionally organise numerous annual events marking the beginning of the new Academic year 2008/2009.
The ceremony held in honour of the new First and Second Level students of the University of Nova Gorica will take place on Monday, October 20, 2008.
The ceremony held in honour of the new generation of graduate students of the University of Nova Gorica will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 18:00 hours in the lecture theatre of the University of Nova Gorica - at the University Campus in Ajdovščina, Vipavska cesta 11 C, Ajdovščina.
The ceremony of the begining of the new Academic year 2008/2009 will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 18:00 hours at the Zemono mansion near Vipava. On this occasion, the following awards will be presented – the Doctor Honoris Causa Award to Prof. Dr. Vinko V. Dolenc, the Professor Emeritus Award to Prof. Dr. Franc Bizjak, the Honorary Member Award to Dr. Murat Boratav and the Golden Plate Award to Prof. Dr. Giorgio Margaritondo.
