Conference "Time and Matter 2010"

Date of publication: 2. 10. 2010
Events

University of Nova Gorica's Laboratory for astroparticle physics is for the second time in a row hosting the international conference »Time and Matter 2010«, taking place from 4-8 October 2010, in Budva Montenegro. The aim of the conference is to present multiple aspects of time and matter in all fields of physics, from elementary particles to galactic and cosmological proportions.

The lectures will in detail cover the most recent achievements in the research of the origin of matter and dark matter, problems of coherence, decoherence and entanglement, CP and T violation, quantum gravity, time reversal, arrow of time, Big Bang evolution and the structure formation of the Universe, with a special emphasis on the latest results by the LHC collaborations at CERN, Geneva.
