TEM hands-on training week @ UNG

UNG campus @Ajdovščina (Slovenia) – 27-31 August 2018

TEM hands-on training week is a intensive one-week course where the basics of Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) tecniques are described and the basics operations for performing a measurement session are practiced directly on the microscope.
It is mainly dedicated to PhD students and young scientist who are going to start, or already begun, working on TEM. Of course, it can be accessed also from anyone who is interested. The teaching from two expert microscopists will be useful to get appropriate basic training and correct impostation for planning and performing TEM measures.
The limited number of allowed participants (5 sits available) ensure the possibility of hands-on activity for all the students. The program contains both lectures, demonstrations and hands-on training.
The teaching will be in English. Participants from other countries are very welcome.
