Nijat Rahimli (project Infinity)
I feel very lucky that I got the opportunity to study in Slovenia and I’m very happy for being a student of the University of Nova Gorica (UNG). Slovenia is a small, calm, environmentally clean and hospitable country.
I have been studying at the School of Environmental Sciences of UNG for one year and half and I can say that the quality of education is very high here. Comfortable classrooms, a great library, perfect laboratory infrastructure make studying easier. The university provides me with all the conditions to do my research and I’m very grateful for that.
UNG has really very professional and well-educated academic staff not only from Slovenia but also from other countries. Mostly, the courses are in English. Field trips, scientific evenings and group projects are interesting. One important thing I have to point out is the fact that UNG staff are really amazing. They are very friendly, polite and helpful. Especially, I’d like to praise the Head of the International Office Sabina Zelinšček and my mentor Assist. Prof. Dr. Suzana Žižek. They helped me a lot.
During my study period here I got good knowledge and improved my English language skills. Therefore, I’d like to thank the Infinity Program of Erasmus Mundus for giving me a chance to study here.
