Erika Tomsič

“I am completing my first year of PhD studies and I work as a young researcher at the University of Nova Gorica. Here I have found a challenging scientific environment only a stone’s throw away from my home. Although the university is not big, it is heterogeneous and hosts students from many different countries. I work in modern and very well-equipped laboratories, under the supervision of young (if compared to the Italian standards) professors, renowned for their high research achievements.”
