The ceremony of uncovering the memorial plaque

History
On Wednesday, 21st April 2010, the Tila Estate Winery hosted the ceremony of uncovering the memorial plaque on the the occasion of celebrating the session of the Senate of the Nova Gorica Polytechnic at which a decision was reached to transform the Nova Gorica Polytechnic into the University of Nova Gorica.
At the Tilia Estate Winery, owned by the Lemut family, the historic session of the Senate of the Nova Gorica Polytechnic the took place on 16th April 2006. On this event, an unanimous decision was reached to change the Nova Gorica Polytecnic's status from that of an independent institution of higher education to that of the first non-state university in Slovenia – the University of Nova Gorica.
