A faculty member of the University of Nova Gorica and a golden donor to the University of Nova Gorica’s Foundation Professor Oskar Kogoj became an honorary citizen of the Miren-Kostanjevica municipality.

The is the highest recognition award of the Miren-Kostanjevica municipality that is given for exceptional life achievements and for promoting the municipality through public engagement.
The award was given to Professor Oskar Kogoj by Mayor Mauricij Humar at the Miren-Kostanjevica municipality district council’s formal ceremony that was held on Friday, 5 October, 2018 in Cerje.
