Head of the Centre for Information Technologies and Applied Mathematics (m/f)

Centre for Information Technologies and Applied Mathematics in an interdisciplinary research group that operates at the intersection of computer science, information science, mathematics, system theory and automatic control systems. The group develops new approaches to modeling and applies them to a variety of fields, from biomedicine to education and industry. It also develops methods for intelligent data analysis and knowledge discovery.

Candidates, both male and female, should fulfill the general employment conditions defined by law and should: * have a PhD degree relevant to the Centre research fields, * fulfill criteria for a leader of research projects, * have experience with project-funding acquisition and research-project management, * have good organizational and leadership skills, * have at least five years of research experience, * have command of Slovene and English language at C1 level.

We are looking for a university fellow that will get an opportunity to develop and lead his/her own research group. Employment contract will be concluded for full-time working hours for a fixed term of four years, with the possibility of re-appointment.
