Professor Emeritus of the University of Nova Gorica, receiver of the PAM award
Prof. Antonino Abrami, professor emeritus of the University of Nova Gorica, recently received the prestigious PAM award for 2023 in recognition of joint efforts with the IAES (International Academy of Environmental Sciences) to fight environmental crimes, increase environmental awareness and support the establishment of the International and European Environmental Criminal Court.
Every year, the international organization Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean grants PAM awards to institutions and/or individuals who, with outstanding contributions in their fields, promote the political and socio-economic development of a peaceful and interconnected Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf region.
This year's awardees excelled by their service to the public, with a special emphasis on combating ecocide and environmental crimes.
