Objectives and competences

The objective is to perform the research work that will become the student dissertation topic. The student will acquire specific skills and competences necessary for the implementation of the planned research work.

Content

Individual research work of student under supervision of mentor or tutor. The student will be instructed on how to organize the research work in the 3rd study year:

•review of the research and expected chosen topic for doctoral dissertation,
•perform the research work planned for the 3rd study year,
•analyze the results obtained from the research work done during the 3rd study year,
•critical review of the research planned for the 4th year of study based on the results obtained during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd study year,
•preparation of dissertation topic argumentation.

Intended learning outcomes

Capability in planning and performing research work related to his dissertation topic.

Readings

Literature related to the chosen research topic.

Assessment

Written report about: • review the chosen research topic, • objectives of the research work, • update plan of the research work for the 4th study year and expected outcomes, • presentation and analysis of research results obtained during the 3rd study year.

Lecturer's references

Supervisor of a doctoral student must be a university teacher, holding a title Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor, or researcher with a doctoral degree, with research experiences in the field of the dissertation topic.
