Objectives and competences

The main goal of the course is to, through individual project work, deepen the students’ knowledge about the current environmental issues and the ways and procedures of solving them. The competences acquired are: understanding current viticulture-oenology issues and the ways of solving them, skills for autonomous project work.

Succesfully passed course Research project in viticulture and enology I.

Content

Student can practically upgrade the topic that was his/her major in the course Research project in viticulture and enology I.

Intended learning outcomes

Knowledge and understanding: * The students will be able to track project work on research topics * The students will be able to independently aquire the knowledge of research topics discussed. * The students will be able to present the aquired knowledge and the results of their research to the public

Readings

Articles from professional journals, technical and scientific books from selected topics (the actual sources cannot be specifies as they depend on the topic of each individual project).

Assessment

Successful presentation of the seminar (50%) and written report (50%)

The main profesor is assistant professor for the field of Enology at University of Nova Gorica and head of Wine research centre.

Mentors are university teachers (assistant professors, associate professors, and full professors) from selected fields of research project.
