Harriet Henry Bayel

I am Harriet Henry Bayel, from Ghana in West Africa. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Resource development from the University of Ghana. Upon completion of my undergraduate studies, I got introduced to the Open Movement via Wikipedia and ever since then I have been an advocate for Open Knowledge and Education in my home country. I decided to enroll in the Masters in Leadership in Open Education with the University of Nova Gorica in order to broaden my knowledge about Open Education that will enable me to become more competent and well vexed as an open advocate. Through this program, I have had insightful discussions with various students and lecturers across the globe. I have also learnt to work better with others through the well thought collaborative exercises designed by my lecturers. What’s more, I have had the opportunity of engaging with industry players through discussions. I highly recommend the Masters in Leadership in Open Education for anyone interested in broadening their knowledge about Open Education because of the well organized curriculum and the constant support provided by both lecturers and staff of the university in guiding learners through their learning journey.
