We invite applications from candidates interested in the syntax and/or morphology of Slavic languages with emphasis on the verbal domain. The candidate’s work will be closely related to the topics associated with the project ‘Hyperspacing the Verb: The interplay between prosody, morphology and semantics in the Western South Slavic verbal domain’ (University of Nova Gorica and University of Graz), the goal of which is a description and account of the morphology of the verb and the verbal domain in Western South Slavic languages.
The candidate will be enrolled in the University of Nova Gorica’s doctoral (3rd-cycle) study program Cognitive Science of Language.

We invite applications from candidates whose previous studies included at least substantial chunks of linguistic topics. Advanced knowledge of any South Slavic language is an advantage.
