Postdoctoral associate in the field of materials chemistry (m/ž)

We are seeking candidates interested in pursuing a rewarding research and academic career at the University of Nova Gorica. We offer a dynamic research environment supported by the latest research equipment and a focus on involvement in international research.
Work will be conducted at the Materials Research Laboratory. In line with their election, the successful candidate will also assume teaching duties in the field of chemistry or materials in one or several of the university’s study programmes, at a basic and advanced level, for up to ten hours a week. Research work will focus on the experimental study of the functional properties of inorganic and organic materials.

There are two vacancies for this position.

Application requirements: * doctorate of science in the field of chemistry or related disciplines; * experience of experimental work in the fields of physical, analytical, organic and inorganic chemistry or the science of materials; * active knowledge of English and Slovenian; * ability to work as part of a team.

Employment is offered for full-time working hours over a fixed term of one year. The start date is by agreement or from September 2020.
