Assistent professor in the field of post-production (m/f)n

The work will be carried out at the School of Arts, University of Nova Gorica. The Academy is a young and dynamic institution with modern study approaches and a focus on personal work with students.
The selected candidate will work in the field of post-production processes of video, film and animated film, which as a complex medium connects visual media into new film and video wholes. Due to the wide range of expressive industries and new technological possibilities, new individual languages can develop. The space for their use is expanding to infinity with the development of digital technologies.

Requirements for application:

• university degree or second-level diploma in the field of arts,
• associate professor title or fulfillment of requirements for appointment to the associate professor title,
• proven ability in independent research, artistic, or professional work,
• independence, adaptability to work in a group, precision, and reliability in work,
• ability to lead group work,
• knowledge of English language at least at B2 level,
• two years of work experience in similar or related positions.

The anticipated start date is October 1, 2023. The employment will be for a part-time position of 8 hours per week, for a fixed term of one year with the possibility of extension.
