Dean of the School of Arts (m/f)

School of arts of the University of Nova Gorica is a young, vibrant school that supports student development and offers study that is fully up to date in terms of teaching methods and tools, content and mentoring. It prides itself on its personal approach, supports e-learning, is oriented towards intermedia and cooperates internationally.

We are looking for a highly motivated colleague who will take over the running of the School of Arts and guide its future development to reflect the university’s strategic objectives.

To be considered for the position, you should:

• have at least university-level or Level II education in a field covered by the School of Arts;
• hold at least the title of assistant professor or the qualifications to be elected to that title;
• meet the requirements for leading research projects;
• have good organizational and leadership skills;
• have at least five years’ work experience;
• have a knowledge of Slovenian and English to C1 level.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit an expansive vision for development of the School of Arts in the fields of teaching and research.

The start of work is planned immediately after the end of the selection process. Your employment contract will be for full-time working hours for a fixed term of four years, with the possibility of reappointment.
