Appropriate version of the article

On the SHERPA/ROMEO portal, which describes the open access policies of publishers and their journals, it is necessary to check which version of the article can be archived in the repository (institutional repository).

The legislation prescribes open access to peer-reviewed publications, so e.g. "submitted version" is not appropriate.

To publish articles in open access, authors can use vouchers or apply for Javni razpis za povračilo stroškov znanstvenih objav v odprtem dostopu ARIS.

Authors should avoid publishing in predatory, hijacked and fake journals. More about unfair publishing practices: https://vodici.fdv.uni-lj.si/subjects/guide.php?subject=nepostenizalozniki#tab-1
