Expert in the field of instrumental analysis (m/f)

The successful candidate will perform professional and technical work whilst participating in research programs and projects as well as the teaching process, maintaining research and other equipment in the Laboratory for Environmental and Life sciences (LELS).

LELS aims to provide conditions for intensive cooperation between analytical and environmental chemists, ecotoxicologists, biochemists, molecular biologists, and technologists. We foster basic and applied research in the study of the conversion and transport of pollutants in land and aquatic environments; the development of advanced, highly-sensitive laser-analytical methods; and diagnostic tools in biomedicine.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for the succesful candidate to develop and apply their knowledge of analytical instrumentation and work in the development of analytical methods and their validation.

To be considered for the position, candidates should:

• have a higher professional education or University degree,
• be independent, adaptable to working in interdisciplinary groups, be accurate and reliable,
• two or more years of previous experience working in a laboratory in a similar position is desirable.
