School of Art Students Give Away an Award at Animateka Festival

The University of Nova Gorica Award for best European student animation film on 7th International Animated Film Festival - Animateka went to authors Jasmiini Ottelin, Pinja Partanen in Elli Vuorinen from Turku Arts Academy for their movie Benigni, which is, as the student jury explained, "an intimate drama about loneliness, out of which an unusual and tragical relationship appears."
A special honorable mention in European Student Competition Programme for an interesting concept and dynamic visual expression went to SPLIT, autors Abel Kohen, Lucie Casale, Justine Dubreux and Maxence Hyerneaux from France.
