The University Zelen 2012 - Protocol wine
As part of the Vipava grape harvest on Sunday, 8 September, 2013, the protocol wine of the Vipava municipality 2013 was announced.
Among the fourteen samples of the Zelen and Pinela wine varieties that were submitted, the members of the professional committee chose, as the best wine, the wine of the University of Nova Gorica – The University Zelen 2012.
This year’s protocol wine is produced from the autochthonous Vipava sort zelen. This is a delightfully fresh and drinkable wine, with aromas that are typical for this variety, such as the gentle fruity note. The University Zelen 2012 is the result is knowledge and experience of our colleagues from the field of viticulture and enology. This year’s choice of the committee confirms the high quality and dedication of their work.
We are glad that our wine will be served at all the protocol events of the Vipava municipality in the following year.
