University of Nova Gorica signs annex to long-term agreement on lease and use of the Lanthieri Mansion premises in Vipava
On Friday, 18 September 2015, the Rector of the University of Nova Gorica Prof. Dr. Danilo Zavrtanik and the Mayor of the Municipality of Vipava Ivan Princes, MSc, signed the annex to the long-term agreement on the lease of the newly-renovated second and third sections of the Lanthieri Mansion in Vipava.
By signing the annex to the 85-year lease agreement the University acquired further 2,200 square metres of premises, which shall serve for teaching and research purposes.
The investment costs of renovating the second and third sections of the Mansion, its former outbuilding, amounted to 3.8 million Euros, 77 per cent of which had been provided by the state, including the EU funding sources, while over a fifth of the costs had been covered by the Municipality of Vipava.
