The Signing of a Partnership Contract between The University of Nova Gorica Foundation and Erste Card Ltd.

Together, they will issue and market Diners Club – the University of Nova Gorica Foundation partnership cards with deferred payment.

The Foundation of the University of Nova Gorica is the only university foundation in Slovenia. It operates with the intention of developing educational and research activities of the University if Nova Gorica, which is known to be one of the best university organizations in the region.

Via the Foundation, the University of Nova Gorica – in cooperation with Erste Card – wants to offer to its members all of the benefits that the Diners card brings. At the same time, it’ll also serve as a membership card for the Foundation, and, with the donations coming from the Erste Card. Ltd. businesses, it’ll support the activities of the University of Nova Gorica Foundation.

The goal of the Diners Card – FUNG project is to secure a long-term and stable source of financial means for the University of Nova Gorica Foundation, as well as for the financing of individual funds and projects that are in line with the foundation’s goals. This is an innovative way of a long-lasting collection of donations in financially unstable times.

According to the Partnership Contract with Erste Card Ltd., the Foundation gets 0,2% from every transaction that has been done with the Diners – FUNG card and 10 EUR from every membership of a Diners Club – FUNG card holder, starting from his/ her second year of membership onwards. Every new Diners Club – FUNG card holder gets a free one year membership.
