International Award for Excellence awarded to the Laboratory for Multiphase Processes of the University of Nova Gorica

Emerald , the world's leading publisher in the fields of management and technology, publishing over 200 professional journals, presents 11 different types of awards yearly. This year, the prestigeous Emerald Literati Network Award of Excellence 2009 was awarded to Gregor Kosec, young researcher, and his mentor, Prof. Dr. Božidar Šarler from the Laboratory for Multiphase Processes of the University of Nova Gorica.
They were awarded for the authorship of the scientific article entitled "Solution of Thermo - fluid Problems by Collocation and Local Pressure Correction", which was published in 2008 in the International Journal of Numerical Methods for Heat & Fluid Flow.
