Numerous annual events marking the beginning of the new Academic year
The University of Nova Gorica will traditionally organise numerous annual events marking the beginning of the new Academic year 2012/2013.
• The ceremony held in honour of the new First and Second Level students of the University of Nova Gorica will take place on Monday, 15 October, 2012.
• Scientific evenings. Lecture given by Prof. Dr. Dane Bićanić (Laboratory of Biophysics, Wageningen University and Research Centre) titled “Photothermal spectroscopic methods and their applications in environmental and food sciences” will take place on Wednesday, 17 October 2012 at 7 p.m. at the mansion Zemono (Vipava).
• The ceremony of the begining of the new Academic year 2012/2013 will take place on Thursday, 18 October, 2012 at 18:00 hours at the Zemono mansion near Vipava. On this occasion, the following awards will be presented:
- Honorary Member Award to Prof. Dr. Dane Bićanić
- Professor Emeritus Award to Prof. Dr. Corrado Sarzanini
- Alumnus Primus and Alumnus Optimus Awards
