"10th Trimo Research Award 2011" awarded to graduate of the School of Engineering and Management of the University of Nova Gorica"

The fundamental aim of the award is to encourage the transfer of information, knowledge and ideas between Trimo and external knowledge centres which share Trimo's interests.

Among the recipients of the awards was also Valentin Koblar, who has successfully finished his studies at the study programme Master in Engineering and Management of the School of Engineering and Management of the University of Nova Gorica. In his thesis he developed and tested an automated procedure for quality control of graphite semiproduct treatment in the company he works for. These semiproducts are used by the manufacturers of electric motors worldwide. Introduced into regular production, the new quality control procedure will replace the current manual control and increase the reliability of the control.
