Graduation Ceremony for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Students

On Wednesday, 5 November and on Thursday, 6 November, 2014, the graduation ceremony for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral students of the University of Nova Gorica was held at the Lanthieri Mansion in Vipava.

The School of Engineering and Management produced fifteen Bachelor degrees, the School of Environmental Sciences had ten Bachelor degrees, the School of Humanities had three Bachelor degrees, the School of Applied Sciences had two Bachelor degrees, the School for Viticulture and Enology one Bachelor degrees and the School of Arts four. Seven Master’s students also received their official titles. In addition to that, the University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Danilo Zavrtanik conferred doctoral degrees to eight graduate students, coming from the Comparative Studies of Ideas and Cultures (Third Level), Intercultural Studies – Comparative Studies of Ideas and Cultures, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology graduate study programme (Third Level), Physics (Trhird Level), Environmental Sciences, Environmental Sciences (Third Level) and Karstology (Third Level).

Among the new graduates at the University of Nova Gorica is also Tine Orel, who became the 1000th graduate of our school. We are particularly proud of it. He graduated at the School of Engineering and Management, Bachelor's programme in Engineering and Management (First Level).

We congratulate all the students who received their degrees and we wish them a successful fulfillment of their goals and aspirations.
