The students will strengthen their skills related to reading and critical analysis of relevant scientific literature;
ability to critically analyse relevant data;
skills related to public presentation of research;
ability to plan and carry out research work;
ability to develop argumentation and defence of their own research hypotheses and findings.

Due to the nature of the subject other literature is not prescribed in advance. It is determined each year according to the contents of the selected project. Partly it is found by the students through research as a part of the study process.

Project (30%), active participation in the seminar (70%).

Izr. prof. dr. Katja Mihurko Poniž je predavateljica književnosti in dekanja na Fakulteti za humanistiko na Univerzi v Novi Gorici. Njena raziskovalna področja so novi pristopi v literarni vedi (predvsem študiji spolov), digitalna humanistika medkulturni stiki, literarna geografija, slovenska dramatika.

Dr. Katja Mihurko Poniž is an Associate Professor in Literature and a dean of the School of Humanitis of the University of Nova Gorica. Her research interests include: new approaches in literary sciences (predominantly gender studies), digital humanities, intercultural contacts, literary geography, Slovenian drama. In the field of Slovenian literature researc, her attention is devoted to the works of women writers.
