Citizens of the Republic of Slovenia, citizens of the European Union, as well the citizens of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo are exempt from paying tuition fees for full-time studies at first-level (Bachelor’s) study programmes with concessions.

Second-level (Master’s) study programmes

At the moment there are no open admission calls. Please follow our website for further information on admission calls for the 2017/18 academic year.
For EU and non-EU students, the first admission call for 2017/18 will be open in February 2017 for Bachelor’s studies and in June 2017 for Master’s and PhD studies.

ELIGIBILITY FOR NO-FEE STUDIES

Bachelor’s (first-level) and Master’s (second-level) study programmes

The citizens of the following states are exempt from paying tuition fees for full-time studies at Bachelor’s and Master’s study programmes with concessions (public budget funding):

  • the Republic of Slovenia,
  • the rest of the EU member states,
  • the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo.

Candidates from other states, who are not eligible for free studies, are advised to follow the news on available scholarships.

FREE INTRODUCTORY WEEKS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Join a free introductory week – be thus better prepared to start your first academic year. Visit our campuses, learn about our study programmes and study regulations, get an insight into the student project work and student research activities, check your preliminary knowledge and get acquainted with the Slovenian language, culture, locate history and student life opportunities.

PREPARATORY AND SLOVENIAN LANGUAGE COURSES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Preparatory courses focus on learning Slovenian, brushing up basic academic English and other study areas related y your studies, learning about the local culture, history, student life, taking part in various extra lectures, study trips, mural activities etc.
