Bachelor`s study programme Environment
Admission for the academic year 2024/2025
Those concerned are invited to enroll for:
three-year academic bachelor’s study programme.

General requirements for enrollment are:
- successfully completed matura exam leading to matriculation,
- successfully completed final examination before 1 June 1995, that follows a suitable four-year secondary school programme,
- successfully completed the final examination following a suitable vocational secondary school (vocational matura) in the field of: nature conservation technician, environmental conservation technician, electrical technician, pharmaceutical technician, geodetic technician, geotechnician, forestry technician, horticultural technician, chemical technician, agro-entrepreneurial technician, laboratory biomedical technician, computer technician, veterinary technician, nursing technician, food nutritionist optician or mechatronics technician and an examination in one of the subjects of the general matura: biology, chemistry or physics. This such subject shall not be the same as any of the subjects that the candidate has already successfully completed in the final examination of the vocational secondary school.
- The enrollment is also open to candidates who have completed equivalent foreign secondary education.
Candidates who get at least 48 ECTS points from other study programmes which correspond at least in 70% with the course contents of this programme accredited by the School’ study programme committee, will be able to inscribe directly into the second study year. Candidates who get at least 108 ECTS points from other study programmes which correspond at least in 70% with the course contents of this programme accredited by the School’ study programme committee, will be able to inscribe directly into the third study year.
Please note that all lectures are in Slovene language.
Double degree option
Candidates who wish to apply to a double degree in Environment in collaboration with University of Bihać, must apply to both programmes and inform the university two months before starting their studies (not latter than end of July). Information on admission at the University of Bihać are available here.

The number of enrollment places is limited by the number of places available for 1st year.
In case the number of candidates exceeds the number of available positions, the candidates will be selected based on their GPA from their secondary school programme.
