Candidates are required to apply by submitting an electronic application through the eVŠ web portal.

Obligatory attachments:

• The certificate of education (if you do not have your certificate yet, you will attach it until the date assigned by an authorized person at the university);
• A court-certified translation of the education certificate from the previous indent into the Slovenian or English language. Candidates should submit translations of certificates only if the letter so requires;
• Annual report cards, transcripts, a diploma supplement or some other evidence on the contents and duration of education;
• A short chronological description of the entire education, prepared and signed by the holder of the education certificate or his / her legal representative;
• Motivation letter and CV.

Candidates are expected to provide all documentation by the deadline.

Please note, that not all programmes have courses available in English language.

Warning: If too many candidates apply in application round, the next round will remain closed.

Information for students who are already enrolled

Students who wish to change their study programme and have not yet exercised this right or the right to repeat a year are required to apply like other candidates. This also applies to students who want to change the study mode in the same study programme in the first year. Both are required to submit an enrolment application through the eVŠ web portal (https://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/).
Candidates who have already repeated a year or changed their full-time study programme may apply for full-time studies, but they are charged a tuition fee in accordance with Article 77 of the Higher Education Act.
Candidates who wish to repeat the first year of the study programme in which they enrolled in the past are not required to apply through the eVŠ web portal. In order to repeat a year of the study programme in which they are already enrolled, candidates must meet the conditions for repeat enrolment. Information on the procedure and conditions for repeat enrolment is available to students at their higher education institution.

Important dates

Important dates for citizens of EU Member States and Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship:

^{Citizens of the Member States of the European Union and other foreign citizens who have permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia and who themselves or at least one of their parents or legal guardians are residents of the Republic of Slovenia for tax purposes, and persons who have been granted international or temporary protection and applicants for international or temporary protection in accordance are required to apply for enrolment places announced for Slovenian citizens and citizens of the Member States of the European Union.}

^{Citizens of the following non-European Union countries: Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland are also treated on an equal basis with citizens of the RS and the European Union.}

Candidates who have already completed secondary education at the time of application and have proof of eligibility (final exam, secondary school completed abroad …) and which cannot be obtained from public records, submit them electronically via the eVŠ portal together with the application, or at the latest by the end of the application period in which they submit the application.
Candidates who complete secondary school in the current school year must submit evidence to the eVŠ portal by the above-mentioned date.

Important dates for citizens of countries that are not Member States of the European Union:

Candidates who have already completed secondary education at the time of application and have proof of eligibility (final exam, secondary school completed abroad …) and which cannot be obtained from public records, submit them electronically via the eVŠ portal together with the application, or at the latest by the end of the application period in which they submit the application.
Candidates who complete secondary school in the current school year must submit evidence to the eVŠ portal by the above-mentioned date.
