On Monday, November 24 2008, the awarding of the Zois Awards and Prizes, the Ambassador of Sciences Prizes and Puh Prizes took place at the Linhart hall at Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana.
One of the recipients of the the Zois Prize was also Prof. Dr. Polonca Trebše, the head of the Laboratory for environmental research at the University of Nova Gorica. The prize was awarded for the achievements in chemistry and ecotoxicology.
